will provide an overview and walkthrough through the many
innovations and design changes of Reporting services 2008. From
new end user tools, to new visualization components to the fully
redesigned architecture, we will cover the new report server and
toolset end to end. This session will contain many demos.
Speaker:
Thierry D’hers is a Group Program Manager in the SQL BI
Reporting Services team.
He has over 14 years experience in the BI industry.
For the last 9 years, Thierry has been responsible for designing
and specifying many of the SQL Server Analysis Services Tools
functionalities. Beyond participating in product design, Thierry
is also a technical evangelist for the SQL BI product line.
In this role, Thierry spent a large amount of time educating
customers and partners to the various benefits of the SQL BI
components. Recently, Thierry took over the program
management team for Reporting Services.
Each meeting has a Presenter brought in to discuss their area
of expertise followed by a Q&A session. Meetings usually last
around two hours, with plenty of free Pizza, Pop and Give-Away's
provided by Microsoft!
